hands in my pocket…
got that silly song in my head..
so there have been a lot of ‘yay’s and ‘zut’s today so far.
zut: this morning while rushing out the door to catch the bus, i realized that i didn’t have my bus pass with me.
while frantically searching my room i realized that i definitely didn’t have it.
zut: it was too late for me to walk to school.
zut: i didn’t have any cash for the bus.
zut: the class that i was missing was the last class before our midterm on tuesday. AND i had lent my notebook to someone and was supposed to retrieve it from her today in class.
yay: my plan regarding the lost bus pass was that if i couldn’t find it, i’d just go the rest of the school year without it. walking to school as much as possible, and only taking the bus when there was a major snowstorm. i called the london transit people and told them i think i left my bus pass on the bus. she put me on hold and i was expecting her to come back saying, “no, we don’t have it, but you could call your school. or call back in a couple days”
but she returned with, “nice smile!” 
heh, that was fun.
funny too, b/c my smile in that pic isn’t very good b/c was biting my lip a little..
so after i hung up with her, i was walking around my apartment for 5 minutes saying “yay! yay! yay!”
yay: i got to have a nice full breakfast. with eggs! yummmy.
zut: my plan was to walk to school and wait outside of my class until it finished and then get my book from them.
but i got there and the class was empty! the prof apparently ended class after an hour! i got there 15min after they all left. It’s a 2hour class and he usually ends it after an hour and a half.
so i text messaged (w/ msn) the girl who had my book and then went to my class.
yay: i had messaged the girl that i would be in Social Sci all day, so if she was hanging around she could probably find me there. i didn’t expect that i would find her though.
and then i randomly saw her siting there!
so i got my book!
and i’ll be able to study for the midterm!
