okay. scratch ‘Mr Story-Teller’ from my list of fun profs.
i think i’m gonna stop going to his class.
it’s a big waste of time.
… considering that its my last class on Mon,Wed and Fridays and i always have to make a special trip back to campus to go to it.
today he started out the class by handing out a sheet with a couple sample multiple choice questions on them.
he handed them out personally to each student. (meanwhile, students were still trickling in, so it took forever to get everyone.)
and as he gave one to me, i asked him if i could have another one.
(a friend of mine was felt sick, so she decided not to come to class.)
he didn’t say no.
he didn’t say yes.
he said nothing, and continued to distribute the papers to people about me.
NOW EXCUSE ME!
what is THAT all about?!
i was highly offended.
i mean, it’s one thing if he just didn’t want to give me an extra b/c he didn’t want people who didn’t come to class to benefit.
i understand that.
he’s entitled to being that way. whatever.
my objection comes from the fact that he didn’t even acknowledge my question.
what, am i not important enough to warrant a response?!
A simple, ‘no, i’m just giving one per person’ would’ve been sufficient.
and acceptable.
i’m not being unreasonable.
anyways, i say, there’s a certain amount of respect that we give profs when we sit in class and listen to what they have to say.
It boosts their ego.
It tells them that we think they’re important/smart enough that we will come and sit there and listen to what they have to say.
but if he can’t give me a simple REPLY to my request,
FORGET HIM!
hmph.
the class is boring anyway.
(heh
. and yes, i realize i’m probably over-exaggerating. as i said in the title, i was probably predisposed to being offended at the time…. but whatever.)
