it was good. my siblings and i went there the night before and slept on campus at the b&b.
and everyone else drove up the next morning. (my parents and 2 aunts and an uncle)

there were a couple ‘hiccups’ in the day that put me in a ‘mood’ for a while. but other than those it was good.

so here’s the latest ‘work news’:

i decided on Tuesday night that I was going to DEFINITELY ask my Team Leader if i could listen to my diskman/mp3 player while i worked. i figured, the stuff i do does not require me to talk to other people, and i could discretely listen to my mp3 player.

but then on wednesday morning the girl with the same position as me cautioned me against asking about it, b/c listening to music while i work would be ‘unprofessional’. so it’d be inappropriate to even ask.
and i agreed with her to some extent.
but on the other hand, i had a handfull of cds in my bag!

well, during the day i noticed that an iPod Shulffle was on someone else’s desk with the earphones untangled. (meaning, she had been using it, it wasn’t just on her desk b/c it fell out of her purse.)
well, then i got up the nerve to ask my Team Leader.

so i thought, when she comes back, i’m going to definitely ask her!.
and then she took FOREVER to come back to her desk!

so after waiting for what seemed like forever, i said ‘forget it!’ and i set up my diskman and listened to music while i worked.

then when she FINALLY came around i asked her if it was okay if i listened to music and she was like, “oh yeah sure, definitely, not a problem at all!”
as if there wasn’t even a need for me to ask her first!

so there you have it.

oh yeah and regarding the whole ‘not enough work’ thing… my ‘partner in crime’ and i just decided that we wouldn’t rush ourselves when doing our work…

soo basically i think this is the best summer job ever.

mostly b/c of the music thing.
i mean, if i have music, i’ll do just about anything and be completely and utterly happy.

so i’m very excited about what music combination i’m going to take to work tomorrow.

and when i get paid i’ll go out and buy all these new cds! and then i can listen to them all day long! it’ll be GREAT!

the best is listening to ‘uplifting’ music while working.
