One day in August when my sis was home, she randomly told me that she had just won the “Difficult: Four Suits” level of Spider Solitaire.
I was shocked.
I am stilled shocked.
Even more shocking, she said it was only her third time doing so.
HER THIRD TIME!!!
Alright, this whole time, I thought the Difficult level was actually the Impossible Level.
I just assumed that it was there to taunt you.
…you know, like how the best video games are the ones that you can’t actually win. This
way you will always play it.
well, since my sister nonchalantly told me about her win(s), I’ve been playing Spider Solitaire all the time.
I mean, if my sis can do it, I should be able to do it too.
It’s been a month so far, and I still suck at it.
like really suck.
to my defense though, I play it while I’m doing other things like watching tv, or talking on the phone.
I’m still perplexed by the fact that the level can be beat!!
…a few years ago I realized that I take these computer card games a little too seriously:
When I was working as a Residence Clerk my shift ended, and someone came in to relieve me, and I told her that I couldn’t pack up my laptop yet, because I was in the middle of a game of Free Cell, and they track your win/loss stats, and I didn’t want mine to go down.
I continued by telling her that this is the added factor to Free Cell, the fact that with every game you know that your score is being recorded as well as win/loss streaks.
She replied, “wow, you really don’t have any real stress in your life do you?”
so since then I’ve tried to calm down with my computer card games.
…until this latest thing with Spider Solitaire.
you’re going down Spider Solitaire. you’re going down.
