So I’m lying in bed playing Unblock Me on my iPod and I decided to check and see if my internet connection is working. (it never works at home because of the password protection)
But for some reason it is working!
Yay!!!
So I figured I’d take advantage and muck around the Internet for a while, even though it is after 2am and I need to wake up in less than 5.5hrs.
Anyways I just found out about this site on Nubby’s site: www.the350project.net
It’s great!
The idea is to choose three local businesses that you love and would hate to see close, and spend $50 in each store!
Love it!
When I first read the concept I thought of This American Life, but if course they’re not local, and I would consider them up be “virtual” since I only listen to them via the net.
So now I have to decide which stores I’ll chose as my three.
The two that pop into my head are Criminal Records and the Type bookstore on queens st.
Hmm, my fingers are tired
