my linoleum obsession
Here’s how I spent my weekend:

carving linoleum in the park!

I’m obsessed!!
I didn’t have to think long about what my first linocut was going to be… WOODGRAIN!

…and my third cut was…

a fingerprint.
eeeee!

i.love.it.
oh, and the park smells like garbage. boo.
thankfully, it’s a big park, so there are areas where it doesn’t smell.
in other news, I went to Pages Books today and picked up a few books, including:

and

mmm chalkboards…
until next time!

Love everything about this post

Thanks Manz!
The garbage thing is working out well for me! I guess my landlord arranged for a private company to pick up our garbage! (Or maybe our garbage collection was always private!)
fun fun!

hehe hana that’s be hilarious!
wait - am I supposed to heat it up? I read that somewhere online and I felt that it was pretty unnecessary.
I think I’d make tons of mistakes if it was too soft…

it’s easier to do if it’s warm…you can heat it up a little bit. i just remember the pain of doing it unheated when i was in grade 9.
how’s your floor coming along? ;]
