Bonjour!
I’m in French-ville!!
well, not quite. It just feels like I’m in French-ville.
I’m in Ottawa. Sitting in a workshop for French-speaking people.
It’s like lovely background music.
Every so often someone says something about me (”Ka-trine”) and it makes me smile.
my hotel room last night was fantastic!
the bathroom doors:

“oooo”
and the inside:

fancy!
The glass shower doors are very exciting! …After I finished showering, I wrote some messages on the them so the next person who showers in there will be encouraged. hah.
Here are a few things I was going to mention a while ago:
check out this soup!

I made it at my parents’ place a month or so ago.
I’m proud of it because it smelled good, it looked good, AND it tasted good!
chicken stock from a can and tofu noodles… who knew?
My almost favourite jacket:

I bought this jacket from Old Navy… in a succulent chocolate brown colour.
(oh! They don’t write your name on the change room doors anymore! YAY!)
It fit like a glove, and it was 50% off.
I love(d) it.
And then I decided to return it, because it might not fit very well during the winter months (January - March).
So instead of being my favourite jacket, it is now my almost favourite jacket.
it’s pretty eh?
And finally, I work with some REALLY great people:

Someone placed a KPD order, and when she gave me the cheque, she attached this note.
I should frame it.
