Before we got there though, we spent an entire day at sea. My sis and i thought for sure that it would be a really annoying day since all the people would be 'stranded' on the ship together...getting in eachother's way and whatnot.
it turned out to be okay though.
one thing about the ship was that it was CRAZY windy at night and basically anytime when we were moving... so i was guaranteed some peace and quiet if i hung out in the 'open' area where the wind was making things blow over.
i enjoyed it....chilly air and flying cups :)
so we arrived at Naples which had, as you would expect, a larger and more secure dock than the other places.
so we walked through security and a parking lot, and got to the street.
it was CRAZZZZY!
just tons of cars and motorcycles and people and chaos.
we walked around for about 10minutes looking for a place where my sis could get a hearty breakfast...we ended up going to McDonalds. ...it's pretty funny actually, cuz my sis hasn't been to a McD's in like 10+ years.
i must say though, it was a beautiful McDonalds. .... we were shocked. ...i took pics of it:

we wandered around after she ate...saw a random castle and a really pretty building, but after 30minutes in Naples we had had enough!

so we decided to take a ferry to Capri!
it was a GREAT decision.
bye Naples!

some random people on the ferry:

it was a fun and chilly and bouncy ride. :)
a mountain that we passed along the way:

after about 45 minutes, we were in Capri!

so we stayed there for lunch and dessert. (pizza and gelato! mmMM!)

and did a LOT of walking.
i think that in order to get anywhere you had to drive or take a bus....we decided to walk instead.
first was a random walkway that we found in between buildings.

it just kept going on and on and on!

eventually, we gave up and walked back down.
the other path we tried was where the cars travel up the hill. ...that also appeared to lead nowhere...
so we walked around the waterfront area and did some shopping.
we found the 'beachy' area and i hung out there for a couple hours.

you may notice...there's no sand...just rocks. :) that didn't stop people from lying down on blankets...
there might have been sand further down the 'beach' though....

and that's about it for Capri/Naples.
we took the ferry back to Naples and went straight to the cruise ship.
